As a new client of Blackstone Animal Hospital in Frisco, TX, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs.
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly. We will inquire if you have previous medical history about your pet. It’s best to keep all of your pet’s health history throughout his or her life, so Dr. Lindsey can have background information, including weight fluctuations, behavioral changes and vaccination history as he is getting to know your pet.
In most cases, you will be taken into one of our spacious exam rooms, where a veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering additional data for Dr. Lindsey.
Then, Dr. Lindsey will examine your pet, ask you further questions and then may recommend diagnostic tests if needed. Once the tests have been run, which can usually be done in the practice, Dr. Lindsey will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted.
This is a great time to ask questions. Dr. Lindsey wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing.
Please note: Dr. Lindsey strongly encourages that all pets are seen once a year for a check-up. This will include physical exam, parasite test, blood work and vaccination as needed.
